Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble locomotive structures using welding, cutting, and riveting techniques
• Operate machinery including drill presses, grinders, and welding equipment
• Execute welding in multiple processes (SMAW, MIG, TIG) on various metals
• Install/remove stay bolts and related locomotive components
• Operate overhead hoists and lifting equipment
• Read technical drawings and verify measurements for sheet-metal work
• Maintain workplace safety and adherence to company procedures

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs without assistance
• Capable of climbing ladders and working at elevated heights
• Strong hand-tool proficiency
• Documentation of relevant work experience and training
• Reliable transportation to Jacksonville location
