Voltify is developing battery-powered locomotives with autonomous fast-charging capabilities through a microgrid network. We seek a senior mechanical engineer to design thermal management systems, mechanical structures, and cooling solutions for high-voltage DC-DC converters and inverters.

Key Responsibilities

• Design thermal management systems and cooling solutions for high-voltage power conversion
• Collaborate with power electronics teams to ensure mechanical-electrical integration
• Perform CFD and FEA simulations
• Oversee prototype development
• Ensure compliance with IEC, UL, automotive, and rail standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years in high-power electronics or industrial/automotive mechanical design
• Proficiency with CAD software and thermal/structural simulation tools
• Knowledge of high-voltage system integration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in EV, rail traction systems, or battery energy storage systems
• Familiarity with ISO, LV standards, and functional safety requirements
